FocusWriter is a simple and open-source distraction free fullscreen word processor for Linux Desktops.
FocusWriter can hide entire desktop contents e.g launcher, unity menu, system notification bar and gives a distraction free writing box with eye-soothing background. This desktop app is very useful for writers, authors, journalists who can use their time effectively without worrying notifications and other distraction.
While running, FocusWriter gives various menu options while moving mouse to each extreme side. The options are hidden to enable the distraction free writing environment and visible using mouse hover.

How to install
To install FocusWriter in Ubuntu, Linux Mint and other Ubuntu derivatives, run below command.
64 bit
wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/gottcode/Debian_8.0/amd64/focuswriter_1.6.0-3_amd64.deb sudo dpkg -i focuswriter_1.6.0-3_amd64.deb
32 bit
wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/gottcode/Debian_8.0/amd64/focuswriter_1.6.0-3_i386.deb sudo dpkg -i focuswriter_1.6.0-3_i386.deb
If you find any dependency error while running above command, run below:
sudo apt-get -f install
After installation, find FocusWriter under Office menu item.
